Shadow correspondent KATHUA, JULY 29: Speak India environmental foundation(SIEF) set up polythene check point in the main bazaar kathua in order to bring awareness among general masses about its hazards. The check point was set up under the guidance of director suresh kumar in which the SIEF activists collected polythene from the people and replaced these with eco-friendly bags. More than 20 kg polythene stuff was recovered from the main bazar. The founder- chairman of the organization, Monu Sunil appealed the public not to use polythene bags. Present on the occasion included Rajan Diman, Secretary, Naresh Kumar , Aditya Verma Distt president, Verinder Khajuria general secretary, Sumit Kumar vice president distt unit.
