‘BJP Govt leaving no stone unturned to divide India on religion basis’

‘Yuva Kranti Yatra’, a nationwide massive public outreach campaign, on Friday evening reached at Lakhanpur, the gateway of Jammu and Kashmir.
‘Yuva Kranti Yatra’, under the leadership of IYC National President Keshav Chand Yadav and National Vice President IYC, Srinivas B V, was started on November 26 from Kanyakumari and will reach the National Capital on Martyrs’ Day on January 30, 2019, after covering all the states. It will cover all the states of North-east India, moving towards Jammu and Kashmir and will conclude in Delhi at Mahatma Gandhi ji’s memorial, Rajghat.
At Lakhanpur, the Yatra was received by Manohar Lal DCC President Kathua and former Minister, Sishpal Keharwala and Jagdeep Kampoj Goldy National Secretaries IYC and in-Charges J&K, PYC President J&K Uday Bhanu Chib; PYC Vice Presidents Pankaj Basotra, Sahil Sharma and Ajaz Chaudhary; PYC General Secretaries Dalvir Singh, Chetan Wanchoo, Amir Banday, Nimrandeep Singh, Ranjeet Chopra, Firdous Mingnoo and Mudassir Ahmed.

Speaking on the occasion, Keshav Chand Yadav, IYC National President said that the motive behind carrying out Yuva Kranti Yatra is to end social discrimination that has emboldened under the BJP led NDA government; to seek accountability on raising unemployment, price hike, famers’ distress, rising incidents of violence against women and corruption under the BJP government,” he said.
He raised serious concern over the present scenario of our country and it’s required to raise voice against the problems being faced by the people of our country otherwise our next generation will question us.
Srinivas B V, National Vice President IYC, said that BJP-led Central Government is leaving no stone unturned to divide India on the basis of religion. He said that BJP leaders are using religion in politics “because they failed to deliver what they had promised during poll campaigns”. He said that the Youth Congress will not allow BJP to divide people on religion line.
Manohar Lal, former Minister, said “Prime Minister and his cabinet have absolutely failed to bring any change in life of the people. It is this government, which is instilling these insecurities in the minds of common masses.”
Sishpal Keharwala and Jagdeep Kampoj Goldy National Secretaries IYC and in-Charges J&K, said social, political and economic situation of the country is deteriorating with every passing day.
“Farmers are dying and women are being raped and killed. The present government has been doling out slogans of ‘Beti Bachao-Beti Padhao’ but facts state massive rise in sexual and physical violence against women in the last four and half years. BJP Government has failed on all fronts be it promises of development, farmers’ welfare or corruption issues,” they asserted.
Uday Bhanu Chib PYC President J&K said that the yatra is conceived to highlight the failures of the ruling dispensation and to unite and amplify the voice of the youth of our nation.
“The youth of the nation feels cheated. Tall promises of development have fallen flat and the government has been indulging in name-changing and divisive political stunts to take attention away from their failure. This is the reason why we are forced to march across the length and breadth of the nation to awaken this government,” Chib asserted.
Chib informed that the Yatra will reach Srinagar on January 19 where in the youth convention will be held in which the issues related to the youth will be discussed.
Pankaj Basotra, JKPYC Vice President, said that the youth of our State are fed up with the hollow policies of the BJP Government and will reply suitably in the forthcoming elections.
