Ranbir Kapoor: Interesting statements

Ranbir Kapoor seems to have dropped his guard regarding his personal life and is going gung-ho about his link-up with his ‘Brahmastra’ co-star Alia Bhatt. On being asked about the same, the ‘Sanju’ actor had recently slipped out that it was too new to talk about it, paving the way for the rumour mills to work overtime on their rumoured affair.
Now, according to the latest reports, Ranbir spoke in detail at an event about his bond with Alia and how it was too new and needed space and time to breathe. The actor seems to be completely bowled away by her and said that when he watches her act and in life, what she gives is something that he is aspiring to for himself.
The romantic heartthrob reportedly opened up on the topic of love and how it always comes with a lot of excitement as there is a new person and how old tricks become new tricks again. Talking about himself, he reportedly said that he is now much more balanced, values relationships more and appreciates hurt more than he did a few years ago.
Ranbir Kapoor’s personal life makes as much news as his professional life. The recently-turned-single actor opened up on the matters of heart on Neha Dupia’s chat show. The hunky star, who has been riding high on the success of his latest film ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’, didn’t mind spilling the beans on his personal life and preferences. When asked who he was currently sexting, Ranbir brushed it off saying that he preferred old school flirting. Talking about the latest fad, the actor said that he felt he was not good at sexting. He went on to compare it to the act of brainwashing and said that it gets ‘vulgar and needy’. Ranbir revealed that he likes being face-to-face while flirting with the person.
It’s no secret that Karan Johar and Ranbir Kapoor are the closest of friends. After expressing their desire to work together several times, the two have finally collaborated on ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil.’ And yes, the duo did have a blast while shooting for the romantic drama that also stars Anushka Sharma, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Fawad Khan. In a BTS video of the film released by a channel, you can see Ranbir and KJo pulling each other’s leg while filming ‘The Breakup Song.’ The two are seen indulging in a funny banter, where Ranbir quips that ‘ADHM’ is actually KJo’s autobiography. Not one to stop at that, he further jokes that KJo is a “frustrated 50-year old virgin” and that’s what Ranbir will be seen playing in the movie. Karan sportingly takes all this in his stride but points out to Ranbir that he is actually 44 years old and not 50.
Bollywood friendships have always been an issue of debate. Sometimes, it gets difficult to differentiate if two actors are friends or foes.
Recently, when Arjun Kapoor turned up with a cake on the sets of Ranbir Kapoor’s ‘Jagga Jasoos’, to wish the actor on his birthday, everybody thought that the two actors are bonding with each other considering Arjun is Katrina’s Rakhi brother.
But looks like the solidarity was short-lived as according to a few reports, Ranbir Kapoor has been taking potshots at Arjun for quite some time, especially on his fashion sense.
Grapevine suggests that when Arjun wore red heels during the promotions of ‘Ki And Ka’, Ranbir replied sarcastically that it was surprising that the heels did not break!
Well, we hope these reports are false and the two actors move past their alleged differences.
While the Bollywood stands divided over banning Pakistani artists amid the growing tension between India and Pakistan post the gruesome Uri attacks, Ranbir Kapoor comes up with another solution. The ‘Tamasha’ actor has said that he wants Pakistanis to stay sweet, gentle, amazing and beautiful because even though the world may think that it’s a shitty place to live in, it is beautiful. He added saying they are a force and the force is going to be with them, forever. While he asked the fans to hug each other, his Pakistani fan and actress Mawra Hocane replied on Twitter, “Yes Hugs please !!! #Ranbir.” For the record, Karan Johar, the director of his upcoming film ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’, has been slammed for casting Pakistani actor Fawad Khan in the film.
The actor may have been much in the news regarding his personal life but there is something else that Ranbir Kapoor wants people to know about himself. The ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ star wants the world to know that he has brought sexy back with his style game. For those who follow RK’s personal style statement, the actor has hardly disappointed his onlookers, rather, he believes in standing out from the rest with his quirky fashion sense. So it didn’t come as a surprise when he declared himself as the male version of Sonam Kapoor. The Kapoor lad wants people to know that he is the epitome of fashion and style and that he has indeed put a lot of effort for the same. Now doesn’t he deserve some credit guys?
