Shiksha Niketan joins ‘Clean Jammu’ drive

JAMMU, May 23:
Shiksha Niketan Senior Secondary School, Jeevan Nagar, here today joined the ongoing three-day ‘Clean Jammu Clean Tawi’ programme launched as part of the Tawi Intensive Awareness Initiative by Jammu and Kashmir Police Wives Welfare Association (PWWA).
The students turned the words of their Principal, Rameshwar Mengi, “Keeping India clean is not really a choice, it is a duty,” into practical by cleaning their surroundings.
The staff members and the students of the school also participated in this awareness initiative for ‘Clean Jammu Clean Tawi’. They carry banners and slogan with them. At the end, Principal spoke to the students with focus on Swachh Bharat Abhiyan.
