All Parties Migrants Coordination Committee (APMCC) delegation led by Vinod Pandit Chairman and King C Bharati, Senior Journalist and National Spokesperson APMCC called on J&K Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti today at her residence in Jammu and discussed APMCC’s long pending demands of re-opening of Shardha Mata Temple in PoK and creation of Kashmiri Pandit Welfare Board to which Chief Minister responded positively and assured to take up the both matters with Prime Minister Narendera Modi tomorrow.
A delegation comprising Vinod Pandit, Chairman APMCC & Founder Member Save Shardha Committee (SSC), King C Bharati Senior Journalist and National Spokesperson APMCC, Anil Bhat, President Harmukh Ganga (Gangbal) Trust (R) , TK Zutshi, Sr Executive Member APMCC, Som Nath Saraf, Vice President, Kapal Mochan Trust, Shopian and Sunil Kumar Trakroo, Sr Executive Member APMCC called on the Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti today and submitted a memorandum of demands along-with a blue print of APMCC’s long pending demand of initiating dialogue between GOI and Pakistani governments to re-open Shardha temple for Hindus of Jammu and Kashmir on the pattern of permit system for Kashmiri Muslims.
Mehbooba Mufti listened to the delegation patiently and assured them that she will take-up the matter of Shardha temple with Prime Minster of India Narendera Modi Tomorrow as well as constitution of KP Welfare Board both long pending original ideas and demands of APMCC.
Mehbooa assured the delegation that their memorandum will be considered thoroughly and their two major demands of initiating dialogue with Pakistan for re-opening of Shardha temple in PoK and creation of a Kashmiri Pandit Welfare Board would be discussed with the Prime Minister of India tomorrow itself.
She assured that all other demands of APMCC were genuine and will be resolved very soon.
The demands include Clear Transfer Policy For Kashmiri Migrant Employees Working In Valley In Their Spouses And Siblings District For Wife-Husband And Brother-Sister Which Has Not Been Implemented Fully Till Date.
Financial Compensation for 1990 Traders and Renewal of Their Trade Licenses For Their Respective Trades They Were Involved With At the Time of Migration
Financial Package For Over Aged Un-Employed Youth Of The Migrant Community and a special; session for APMCC in Kashmir to take-up on spot issues confronting Kashmiri Migrants and Non-Migrants in Valley.
