Hailing the nomination of Rajinder Manhas as District President, PDP Jammu Urban as approved by party President Mehbooba Mufti, People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Zone President Jammu West, Puneet Singh Jamwal today said that the party has pinned its hopes in young leadership. He said that youth are backbone of state and this appointment will encourage youth to join politics and strengthen PDP. He also hailed the nomination of Zafarullah Wani as Zone President for Devsar Zone as announced by party Vice President Muhammad Sartaj Madni. Speaking in a meeting organized in Jammu West, Puneet Singh Jamwal said that People’s Democratic Party (PDP)-BJP coalition government is making all out efforts to increase job opportunities in the state which would create more employment for unemployed youth and help them live an honourable life. The Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti was making all out efforts to rope in private entrepreneurs, tour operators, legends from hotel industry and other investors so that more and more employment opportunities are created in our state.
The PDP leader said institutes of national and international excellence are awaiting to be set up here, tunnels, bridges and express highways are in pipe line, health institutes and developmental works are awaiting for ‘peace’ so that state could prosper. Keeping in view such massive works we all must contribute in a big way. There is no dearth of funds but all we need is a congenial atmosphere and healthy competition to meet the requirements of all three regions of the state. It was only recently that Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti assured promotion and development of local industry for which several incentives have also been provided by the coalition government.
